COLORADO SPRINGS – MAY 3, 2023 — COLORADO SPRINGS – MAY 3, 2023 — Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Walsingham, Colorado Springs’ first classical Catholic high school, is becoming Our Lady of Walsingham Academy, a high school independent of the Chesterton Schools Network. The school operates on the campus of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Colorado Springs’ Old North End.
The Chesterton Schools Network (CSN) is a group of more than 50 schools around the United States and Canada with the mission of offering a classical, integrated high school education faithful to the Catholic Church. Our Lady of Walsingham was launched in 2021 as a Chesterton school.
“The Chesterton Schools Network is a marvelous institution doing God’s work in the world by giving families more options in Catholic high school education,” said Mark Langley, headmaster of Our Lady of Walsingham Academy. “We always will be grateful to the Chesterton Network for helping to bring classical Catholic education to our community, but our experienced and established faculty are well positioned to manage and lead the school as an independent entity.”
The high school will finish the 2023 Spring semester as Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Walsingham. The current senior class will graduate from a Chesterton Schools Network school. The school will open in the Fall of 2023 as Our Lady of Walsingham Academy.
For the 2023-24 academic year, Our Lady of Walsingham Academy is accepting applications for the freshmen (9th grade) class. By design, tuition is kept affordable and class sizes are small. Application details: www.olwclassical.org/admissions.
